Hi, I’m Emma! The face behind Emma Styled That. In May 2022, I graduated with a B.S. in Textile & Apparel Management and a minor in Business. My journey into thrifting and sustainable fashion started long before that, though. Sustainability has always been a passion of mine, especially after learning about the environmental impact of the fashion industry. Did you know that in America alone, the average person throws away 82 lbs of clothing each year? That’s a lot of waste for one human so it really opened my eyes to the need for change.

I wanted to create a business that blends sustainability with uniqueness—and that’s when Emma Styled That was born. I’ve been thrifting for over 10 years, and I’m constantly amazed by the stories each secondhand piece holds.
